Roundups offer the reader multiple viewpoints on a specific topic. It’s also a great way to drive traffic from the sites of people quoted within the roundup through backlinks.

Incredible Tips From Expert Photographers, which includes lots of helpful advice on how to improve your photos from professional photographers.
3. The List
Some of the most popular posts on the internet are lists. They can be inspirational, informative, visual, or anything in between. These also have great potential to go viral, and tend to be posts that readers skim through.

4. The Interview
This type of post offers unique insights into the opinions, thoughts, and backgrounds of influencers in your niche. It can also help drive traffic to your site if the influencer being interviewed is willing to share the post on their own website or social media channels.

An exhaustive instructional piece on a particular topic that can result in you becoming an authority on the subject. As such, these posts can really help drive search traffic. In order to become an authority, try to write about places or topics that aren’t well-covered yet.

6. The Comedian
One of my favorite types of blog posts! This post entertains your audience by exploring a topic in a humorous or compelling way. It has the ability to keep your audience engaged and can often go viral on social media if done the right way.

My Worst Travel Mishaps & How To Avoid Them, which details some of the hilarious disasters I’ve encountered on my journeys and the lessons learned from those experiences.
7. The Inspirer
This post prompts your audience to dream big. Whether it’s telling them about a stunning destination they should travel to, a skill they should learn, or a frame of mind they should adopt.
Example:
The Profound Ways Travel Changes You, which talks about the incredible experiences and life lessons you gain through travel.
8. The Thinker
Here the reader is challenged to think critically about a topic. If you contradict a commonly held belief with a new perspective and supporting evidence, you can establish yourself as an authority.
Example:

A series of posts about a single topic. By breaking a larger subject into multiple posts you not only help to keep posts concise, but you also give your readers a reason to come back for more.
